A versatile legal practitioner, Raman was admitted as a member of the Bar in July 1970 and possesses 50 years of legal experience including 20 years as head of the law department of State Bank of India (SBI) at its head offices in Delhi and Chandigarh. During this period he dealt with important legal, regulatory and international matters related to the bank including mergers, amalgamations, vetting of project financing documents, arbitration, high value agreements as well as dealing with foreign exchange and commercial matters relating to the bank. Prior to joining the SBI, he practiced law in courts for 15 years with reference to civil and criminal law. She is a very passionate litigator who possesses more than 19 years experience of actively practicing on the Appellate and Original side of the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi in addition to appearing before the Consumer Courts, National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT)  and Arbitral Tribunals. Sadiqua is credited with a very successful track record as a litigator, particularly practicing before the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi. She was appointed as an Amicus Curiae by the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi in a criminal matter. She has rich experience of dealing with tender, contracts, labour and service matters. She regularly represents construction companies in high stake arbitration cases.
