Her expertise covers knowledge of trusts, (administration and creation) and UK tax affecting the international individuals who own, run or are employed by the equally international corporate clients. Gina provides the full range of private client services to individuals, such as advice on estate planning, how to structure asset holding within the family, Wills and trusts and the effects of the UK tax system. In particular, she offers advice and planning for the application of UK taxes for clients (perhaps not originally UK nationals), who come to the UK to live and work, buy homes and set up family life.

Handling claims at all stages in the litigation process including pre-action and after the issue of proceedings, including lots of experience of dealing with Court hearings and appeals and also multi-party mediations and settlement meetings.

Having trained at Howard Kennedy, Ossie joined Bishop & Sewell LLP, since which time he has specialised in all aspects of residential conveyancing, now particularly acting in the sale and purchase of high-value central London properties. He deals with both freehold and leasehold properties and acts for banks and other lenders in respect of purchases. Ossie prides himself on being able to build up a rapport with his clients quickly by being able to explain and advise accurately and clearly in relation to even the most complicated aspects of the law in this area, and by always acting with their best interests at the forefront of his mind.

Rachel is a Partner and a member of our Litigation & Dispute Resolution department. Rachel heads our Contentious Probate and Trusts / Court of Protection team. Rachel has 12 years’ of litigation experience, often involving extremely sensitive and emotionally challenging subjects, and acting for vulnerable clients. She has extensive experience of dealing with the difficult family dynamics that can regularly be found at the root of the matters she acts on, as well as supporting clients through what is usually a very difficult time. Her cases often involve additional elements such as discrimination, harassment and defamation. In addition, Rachel’s claims relate to Property, Land and Estates, often arising in relation to an initial probate, trust or Court of Protection dispute, and has experience of acting on complex litigation. She is adept at identifying imaginative and novel solutions to her cases, including seeking equitable or practical remedies, and by enterprising use of Civil Procedure. Rachel also acts in relation to Inquests and associated claims.
