Avi Arad

Adv. Arad is the Co-Head of the Real Estate, Planning and Construction Department, and is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. Adv. Arad specializes in complex real estate transactions, including large scale residential projects which include hundreds or thousands of housing units, and possesses significant reputation regarding Tama 38 (a National Outline Plan for the reinforcement of buildings against earthquakes) and urban renewal projects. Adv. Amir Chen

FBC - Amir Chen Mr. Chen serves as FBC’s Managing Partner and heads the Real Estate and Planning & Zoning Department. He focuses on the planning and execution of large-scale and complex real estate projects, real estate-related financing, and real property tax matters. Mr. Chen is recognized as one of Israel’s leading deal-makers and is consistently ranked by international and domestic indices as one of the pre-eminent Israeli real estate attorneys. Mr. Chen advises and comments upon legislation in the real estate sector and frequently provides interviews, publishes and lectures on current trends in the Israeli real estate market. Mr. Chen serves as Chairman of the Property and Real Estate Committee of the Tel Aviv District of the Israel Bar Association, is a director and the academic coordinator at the Practical Law College, and is the academic director of the advanced real estate management course at the Gazit-Globe Real Estate Institute at the IDC Herzliya. Mr. Chen is active in a number of non-profit organizations and led FBC’s establishment of the Senior Citizen Support and Social Facilitation Clinic at the IDC Herzliya.

Eyal Mamo

Partner Eyal D. Mamo is one of the most prominent lawyers specializing in real estate, planning and construction in Israel. Clients tap into his unique track record following his position as Chairman of the Central District Appeals Committee for Planning and Construction and his involvement in drafting bills and regulations for the Ministry of Interior. Eyal also served as the public representative on the Ministry of Justice Council of Land Assessors’ Supervisory and Appeals Committees for more than a decade and is involved in planning regulation as legal counsel for the Association of Contractors and Builders in Israel. He is the current editor of the most comprehensive books in the field – Planning and Construction Law. Eyal advises local authorities, real estate developers and construction companies, providing legal consultation for plan approval processes involving residential, hotel, office, industrial and commercial projects. Given his planning background, he also acts for clients in objections and appeals before planning bodies, and in administrative appeals and petitions to the Supreme Court. Efrat Sharon

FBC - Efrat Sharon Ms. Sharon is a partner in FBC’s Real Estate Department, where her practice concentrates on planning & zoning matters. Ms. Sharon's practice handles the initiation, promotion and support of major city planning. Her practice supports its clients in each stage of the planning approval process, starting from the initial and conceptual stages of the plans, through the promotion of the plans in the various planning committees, and culminating in the actual construction phase. Ms. Sharon's practice also deals with planning-related litigation proceedings, such as the handling of objections and appeals regarding the city plans at all levels; "betterment" tax; claims for damages regarding city plans under Section 197 of the Planning and Zoning Law, and more. In addition, her practice handles the various stages of construction licensing and building permits.
