Partner and Head of the Energy department, Dan Hacohen is one of Israel's most prominent energy lawyers. With more than 25 years' experience in the energy sector, clients strongly benefit from his immense knowledge drawn from his represenatation of the project partners in all of the significant gas discoveries in Israel over the last decade, and, in recent years, his involvement in transactions valued at more than $50 billion. His highlights include, inter alia, the $2 billion 144A bond offering for partners in the Tamar gas field (the largest ever Israeli bond offering of its kind), bridge financing in relation to the Leviathan field in 2011, the 2010 Tamar bridge development financing and the 2005 144A bond offering for the Yam Tethys project (the first ever international project finance bond offering for an Israeli infrastructure project). Partner Daniel Sekel specializes in commercial law with a particular emphasis on companies in the life sciences sector, including the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical devices fields. Daniel has comprehensive experience advising these companies throughout each stage of their development, from the initial research stage and seed funding, through commercial development and distribution, to acquisition or initial public offering and beyond. Eddie Ashkenazi is a partner in the energy practice of Agmon & Co., Rosenberg Hacohen & Co. Eddie specialises in corporate and commercial law, with a particular focus on international energy projects and transactions, oil and natural gas E&P projects and related regulatory issues. Partner Eyal D. Mamo is one of the most prominent lawyers specializing in real estate, planning and construction in Israel. Clients tap into his unique track record following his position as Chairman of the Central District Appeals Committee for Planning and Construction and his involvement in drafting bills and regulations for the Ministry of Interior. Eyal also served as the public representative on the Ministry of Justice Council of Land Assessors’ Supervisory and Appeals Committees for more than a decade and is involved in planning regulation as legal counsel for the Association of Contractors and Builders in Israel. In recent years, Hilla has been involved in some of the complex and innovative cases in her field, some of which have set a precedent in Israel, such as representing a leading Israeli bank in an appeal on the Antitrust Commissioner ruling regarding information exchange between banks.

After joining the firm in 2012, Kira Lerner advises in all matters concerning planning, permission and licensing procedures, and represents clients before the Administrative Court. Kira joined Agmon from the Jerusalem Municipality's legal department where she worked for more than three years. Her role included providing legal counsel and care services for the various municipality departments, handling criminal and administrative matters and dealing with petitions and cases regarding licensing disputes. Previously, Kira was a legal assistant for the honorable Judge Gila Canfy Steinitz, at the Jerusalem District Court.

Yoav joined the firm in 1988 as an intern for Dr. Michael Cheshin, who later became the Supreme Court’s Vice President. He has forged a successful reputation in representing clients in banking, class actions, administrative law, communications, insurance and antitrust disputes. Yoav’s client roster includes banks, credit card companies, insurance companies, gasoline companies, communications companies, supermarket chains, consumer products companies and numerous other institutional bodies. Yoav’s experience as an intern for some of Israel’s most prominent judges also gives his clients access to one of the best litigators and presenters in court in the country.
Yona Goshen - Gottstein
Partner and Head of the Finance and Banking department, Yona Goshen-Gottstein brings clients vast and practical banking and finance experience, accumulated from roles at First International Bank of Israel (“FIBI”), U-Bank Ltd and the Bank of Jerusalem.
