Amir Goddard

Partner Amir Goddard brings clients more than 20 years' experience, with considerable expertise offered in relation to capital markets, securities and commercial law. Having joined our firm in 1991 as an intern, Amir advises on complex M&A transactions, initial public offerings and secondary offerings, and acts for clients on all aspects of corporate and securities law, representing them in their dealings with the Israel Securities Authority and the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. Head of the Real Estate, Planning and Construction department Avi Porten is widely recognized as a central figure in Israel in the fields of land, real estate and planning and construction. Avi Sheferman

Partner Avi Sheferman is renowned for his vast expertise in planning and construction law, with more than 14 years' experience and involvement in many of the highest profile projects in Israel. Having joined Agmon in 2007, Avi acts for a range of clients, including developers, corporations and private clients involved in the development, planning and construction of major residential, retail and hotel projects across the country. Clients also gain from Avi’s experience in handling an array of real estate and zoning issues and his negotiations with the local and district planning committees.

Dan Hacohen

Partner and Head of the Energy department, Dan Hacohen is one of Israel's most prominent energy lawyers. With more than 25 years' experience in the energy sector, clients strongly benefit from his immense knowledge drawn from his represenatation of the project partners in all of the significant gas discoveries in Israel over the last decade, and, in recent years, his involvement in transactions valued at more than $50 billion. His highlights include, inter alia, the $2 billion 144A bond offering for partners in the Tamar gas field (the largest ever Israeli bond offering of its kind), bridge financing in relation to the Leviathan field in 2011, the 2010 Tamar bridge development financing and the 2005 144A bond offering for the Yam Tethys project (the first ever international project finance bond offering for an Israeli infrastructure project). Daniel Sekel

Partner Daniel Sekel specializes in commercial law with a particular emphasis on companies in the life sciences sector, including the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical devices fields. Daniel has comprehensive experience advising these companies throughout each stage of their development, from the initial research stage and seed funding, through commercial development and distribution, to acquisition or initial public offering and beyond. His extensive roster comprises clients of different sizes and industries, ranging from start-ups to established public companies, as well as some of Israel's largest enterprises, universities, hospitals and research institutions. He also acts for a range of investors including angel investors, funds and technology incubators. Daniel joined our firm as an associate in 2001 and, after heading the legal department of Ramot, the technology transfer company of Tel Aviv University, returned to the firm as a partner in 2010.

Partner Dror Savransky handles all legal aspects of commercial-civil litigation, with a long and successful track record in defending class action lawsuits. Eyal Mamo

Partner Eyal D. Mamo is one of the most prominent lawyers specializing in real estate, planning and construction in Israel. Clients tap into his unique track record following his position as Chairman of the Central District Appeals Committee for Planning and Construction and his involvement in drafting bills and regulations for the Ministry of Interior. Eyal also served as the public representative on the Ministry of Justice Council of Land Assessors’ Supervisory and Appeals Committees for more than a decade and is involved in planning regulation as legal counsel for the Association of Contractors and Builders in Israel. He is the current editor of the most comprehensive books in the field – Planning and Construction Law. Eyal advises local authorities, real estate developers and construction companies, providing legal consultation for plan approval processes involving residential, hotel, office, industrial and commercial projects. Given his planning background, he also acts for clients in objections and appeals before planning bodies, and in administrative appeals and petitions to the Supreme Court. Partner Galit Fleisher-Avrahami has been advising clients for almost two decades on a wide variety of civil matters in the area of complex commercial litigation. Hilla Peleg

Hilla Peleg is a partner in our Litigation department and focuses her practice on class actionsn antitrust and competition litigation with specific expertise in the telecoms, energy and consumer goods sectors. She brings clients a wealth of experience in antitrust litigation, acting for clients in all criminal proceedings and hearings before the Israel Antitrust Authority.  Having joined Agmon in 2008, Hilla's clients include some of Israel’s largest communications, energy and industrial corporations, as well as banks and financial holding companies. In recent years, Hilla has been involved in some of the complex and innovative cases in her field, some of which have set a precedent in Israel, such as representing a leading Israeli bank in an appeal on the Antitrust Commissioner ruling regarding information exchange between banks.

Ishai Itsikovich

Head of the Real Estate Transactions practice group, partner Ishai Itsikovich provides clients with a wealth of experience in residential and commercial real estate projects, with a particularly strong grasp of urban renewal projects, guiding clients through the entire cycle of a real estate project from the land purchase, through contracts, financing and sale of units. Partner Israel Attar advises clients on a range of zoning, construction, land cases and land taxes. Israel guides companies and private clients looking to plan, develop and build large-scale projects Having joined our firm in 2008, he deals with matters relating to construction law and has particular expertise in expropriation claims. He also has a particularly strong grasp of real estate transactions and the tax implications associated with land transfers. 

Kira Lerner

After joining the firm in 2012, Kira Lerner advises in all matters concerning planning, permission and licensing procedures, and represents clients before the Administrative Court. Kira joined Agmon from the Jerusalem Municipality's legal department where she worked for more than three years. Her role included providing legal counsel and care services for the various municipality departments, handling criminal and administrative matters and dealing with petitions and cases regarding licensing disputes. Previously, Kira was a legal assistant for the honorable Judge Gila Canfy Steinitz, at the Jerusalem District Court.

Tal Mayshar

Head of the Litigation department, Yoav Hirsh brings more than 25 years of high pedigree experience in complex commercial litigation, representing clients before every type of court, as well as in arbitration and mediation forums. Yoav joined the firm in 1988 as an intern for Dr. Michael Cheshin, who later became the Supreme Court’s Vice President. Clients benefit from his considerable experience in a range of complex commercial-civil litigation cases. He has forged a successful reputation in representing clients in banking, class actions, administrative law, communications, insurance and antitrust disputes. Yoav’s client roster includes banks, credit card companies, insurance companies, gasoline companies, communications companies, supermarket chains, consumer products companies and numerous other institutional bodies. Yoav’s experience as an intern for some of Israel’s most prominent judges also gives his clients access to one of the best litigators and presenters in court in the country.

Yona Goshen - Gottstein

Partner and Head of the Finance and Banking department, Yona Goshen-Gottstein brings clients vast and practical banking and finance experience, accumulated from roles at First International Bank of Israel (“FIBI”), U-Bank Ltd and the Bank of Jerusalem. In these roles, Yona served as the Chief Legal Counsel and Deputy CEO at FIBI, Head of Central Services Division, Chief Risk Officer and Deputy CEO at U-Bank Ltd, and she also headed the legal department at the Bank of Jerusalem, playing an integral role in the establishment of the bank’s new commercial infrastructure.
