Alisa Montonen specializes in the drafting, negotiation and risk management of projects and contracts related to the energy and infrastructure sectors. Montonen’s assignments typically concern the conduct of extensive merger & acquisition processes, real estate, environmental and company law advice, and general contract drafting and negotiation. Montonen has extensive experience in various M&A processes, real estate projects and arrangements, environmental law advisory, and company law related issues and commercial agreements. Montonen has previously worked as a Senior Associate in one of Finland’s leading law firms, and as a visiting lawyer at a Finnish investment and asset management company.

Amanda Olmo specializes in assignments related to energy and infrastructure and construction sector. Before joining Lieke, Amanda has worked in attorneys-at-law offices focusing mainly on construction law, dispute resolution, transactions and insolvency.

Anniina Rantasalo specializes in dispute resolution and employment law assignments. She assists our clients extensively in various types of dispute assignments, as well as in other matters related to her special expertise. Rantasalo has trained on the bench.

Essi Winberg specializes in real estate and construction, as well as company, energy and contract law. Winberg assists our clients in a wide variety of areas in different types of assignments. Before joining Lieke, Winberg worked in a law firm specializing in business law, focusing especially on real estate law and mergers & acquisitions.

Hanna Tuominen specializes in contract, energy and environmental law. Tuominen also assists in various corporate reorganizations and other projects related to her field of expertise. Prior to Lieke, Tuominen has worked for a law firm specializing in business law, focusing in particular on environmental and competition law and mergers & acquisitions.

Hanna Tolonen specializes in M&A transactions as well as company and contract law related matters. Tolonen assists our clients extensively in transactions and in various types of company and contract law matters, as well as in other matters related to her expertise areas. Prior to joining our team, Tolonen has worked at a leading Finnish law firm focusing on M&A transactions in the private market.

Heidi Krootila specializes in assignments related to commercial agreements, company law, M&A and data privacy. Before joining Lieke Krootila has worked in a research organization as a lawyer and as a Data Protection Officer. Krootila has also worked in a business law focused attorneys-at-law office where she specialized especially in M&A and real estate transactions.

Helena Kalmanlehto specializes in commercial dispute resolution. Kalmanlehto’s dispute resolution assignments typically cover company and commercial law, construction law, contract law and damages, and insolvency issues. In addition, she drafts contracts and advises on real estate and construction law matters. Kalmanlehto has extensive experience in managing various conflict situations, litigation and arbitration procedures, as well as mediation procedures. Kalmanlehto has previously worked in other Finnish leading law firms that focus on business law. She has trained in the District Court and Court of Appeals. Helena is a member of the Finnish Bar Association’s Committee of Mediation and Expert Team of Civil Process Law.

Henna Pajulammi specializes in dispute resolution and white-collar criminal cases. She has extensive experience in various forms of trials and has assisted, inter alia, in liability litigation, commercial disputes and trials related to business secrets and white-collar crime. Typically Pajulammi advises clients in large scale litigation, negotiations and compliance related matters. She has advised clients in matters relating to investments, energy production, delivery contracts, trade secrets, tax fraud and environmental crime. Previously Pajulammi has worked as a Senior Associate in one of the leading law firms in Finland and has worked as a visiting Fulbright scholar in the UCLA Law School in California. She has defended successfully her PhD (LL.D.) thesis in 2014.

Ida Lindfors specializes in company and contract law. Lindfors advises clients on a wide range of mergers and acquisitions and other corporate law matters, especially in the energy sector. Lindfors typically advises our clients on shareholders’ agreements, board and general meeting related matters, mergers and acquisitions, contract drafting and contract negotiation. Lindfors has 10 years’ experience in advising clients on corporate and contractual matters.

Iida Kivilähde specializes in assignments related to energy and infrastructure sector. Prior to Lieke, Kivilähde worked as Trainee in a tax and legal team of an international company specialized in offering audit, tax, and advisory services. Kivilähde has also worked as Trainee in an attorneys-at-law office.

Juho Lönnblad specializes in real estate, construction and project law issues and industry practices. Lönnblad’s special expertise also includes dispute resolution related to real estate and construction, as well as handling appeals. He provides comprehensive legal support in real estate projects, from the early stages of development to the final approval. Juho Lönnblad has been listed for several years in The Legal 500, an international directory evaluating the legal profession.

Jussi Ekonen is specialized in energy and infrastructure sector-related contract drafting, negotiation and contractual risk management. Ekonen typically advises clients in merger and acquisition processes, company law related questions and general contract drafting and negotiation. Ekonen has extensive experience in various M&A processes, Public Private Partnership projects, company law issues and commercial contracts. Previously, Ekonen has worked as a Senior Associate in one of Finland’s leading law firms and as a lawyer in an international listed company.

Kia Vuorenvirta specializes in company law, M&A and commercial agreements. Before joining Lieke, Vuorenvirta has worked as a lawyer in the Finnish central securities depository, part of an international group.  In addition, she has experience from law firms during her studies.

Krista Hautakoski specializes in dispute resolution, employment and company law. Before joining Lieke, Hautakoski has worked as a Trainee at a Big Four company, the Ministry of Justice, the Supreme Administrative Court and two law firms specializing in business law.

Kristiina Välimaa specializes in assignments related to energy and infrastructure and construction sector. Välimaa assists our clients extensively in merger and acquisition processes and arrangements, commercial contracts and legal advisory matters relating to energy, infrastructure, and construction sectors. Before joining Lieke, Välimaa worked in an attorneys-at-law office specialized in assignments related to energy, infrastructure, and construction sector.

Maija Tevajärvi specializes in assignments related to energy and infrastructure and construction sector. Before joining Lieke Tevajärvi has worked as a Tax Advisor in the energy sector and in a global corporation focused on business consulting.

Maija Ahtiainen is specialised in commercial dispute resolution. Ahtiainen advises and represents our clients in litigation, domestic and international arbitration and other conflict management projects. The assignments handled by Ahtiainen typically concern disputes related to construction, real estate, various delivery, project and other commercial contracts, acquisitions and shareholders’ agreements. Ahtiainen has more than a decade of experience in handling demanding and complex commercial disputes. Ahtiainen has previously worked in other leading Finnish business law firms. She has also trained on the Bench.

Partner, Attorney-at-Law

Markus Pulkkinen is specialized in public procurement, commercial agreements and IT law. Pulkkinen assists Lieke’s customers especially in matters that apply to public procurement legislation such as public procurement competitive tendering, drafting procurement agreements, procurement procedures and procurement-related rectification and litigation processes. Before joining Lieke, Pulkkinen worked as a lawyer in central purchasing body Hansel Ltd. and in the National Cyber Security Centre as a legal expert and as a lawyer.

Michelle Merlich specializes in assignments related to energy and infrastructure and construction sector. Merlich assists our clients in merger and acquisition processes and arrangements, commercial contracts and legal advisory matters relating to energy, infrastructure, and construction sectors. In addition, Merlich provides advise on general corporate and contract law matters. Before joining Lieke, Merlich worked as a lawyer in other business law firms specializing especially in real estate transactions and real estate development projects.

Mikael Lindqvist specializes in public procurement and assists Lieke's public sector customers. Lindqvist also advises customers in company and contract law related matters.

Mira Rantamoijanen is specialized in dispute resolution, employment and company law. She advises Lieke's clients extensively in various types of matters related to her special expertise. Previously Rantamoijanen has trained on the bench and acted as a District Court judge as well as  held a position as a Refendary at Court of Appeal. Rantamoijanen has also worked in another business law focused Attorneys-at-Law office.

Mona Jortikka is specialized in commercial agreements, company law, M&A and prevention of disputes. Jortikka assists our clients especially in questions regarding commercial agreements, dispute resolution and company law. Before joining Lieke, Jortikka worked as a legal counsel for a large cap Finnish listed company and as an attorney-at-law and associate lawyer for internationally oriented attorneys-at-law offices. Jortikka has focused on contract and company law, dispute resolution and tax law. In addition to her law degree, Jortikka also holds M. Sc. (Economics).

Panu Vasama specializes in the law, contracts and projects regarding the operating environment of corporations in the energy industry, circular economy and the environment. Vasama advises our clients on contract matters and acts as a strategic partner in investment projects. Before Lieke, he has worked as a corporate lawyer for an international energy company.

Riina Pajala specializes in assignments related to energy and infrastructure and construction sector. Before joining Lieke Pajala worked as AML Specialist Advisor in the finance sector in duties related to preventing of money laundering and as an Associate Trainee of an energy practice of a business law focused attorneys-at-law office. In addition to her law degree, Pajala also holds M. Sc. (Economics).

Roosa Suutari specializes in dispute resolution. Before joining Lieke, Suutari worked as a lawyer and trainee in other law firms and as a trainee in a district court.

Rosa Lång specializes in construction and IT law, project management and various commercial contracts. Lång also advises our clients on employment law issues. She is an experienced negotiator both in the contract negotiation phase and in dispute resolution situations. In addition to domestic assignments, she has experience in numerous international projects. In addition, Lång has worked for several years in an international construction group as an inhouse counsel for the Nordic and Baltic companies, and on a secondment in an international IT group. She has also held positions related to organizational compliance and GDPR functions, as well as risk management. Lång co-author the Chambers and Partners Global Practice Guide’s chapter Construction Law Finland 2022.

Valmari Keskimäki specializes in Dispute resolution and Commercial agreements. Keskimäki also advises our clients widely in Company law related matters.

Lieke’s Managing Partner Ville Vyyryläinen has over 15 years’ experience in advising clients in the Energy and Infrastructure Sector. Vyyryläinen focuses on advising the firm’s clients in energy and infrastructure transactions as well as in demanding corporate matters. Vyyryläinen has extensive experience in providing legal advice to public sector where he focuses in particular on corporate law matters, commercial negotiations and strategic advice. Vyyryläinen co-heads Lieke’s dynamic Energy and Infrastructure practice focusing on offering clients the best expertise in the field. The team knows the regulation, procedures, and practices of the industry and has experience in the largest and most demanding projects in Finland. Ville Vyyryläinen has been listed for several years in The Legal 500, an international directory evaluating the legal profession.
