Anna Fernqvist Svensson

Anna has extensive experience working with commercial contracts, mergers & acquisitions, and disputes, serving clients in both the private and public sector. Anna specialises within the fields of EU competition law, data protection (GDPR), and labour law. She also has vast expertise within the fields of IP and environmental law. Anna is the head of the Hellström’s competition law practice group, including IP and marketing law, and the head of the data protection practice group. She has practiced for many years in the areas of retail, real estate, IT, energy and infrastructure and is also a very experienced lecturer.

Arvid Sundelin

Arvid works exclusively with environmental law and has extensive experience of permit processes, mostly regarding hydro power, wind power, CHP plants, mining operations, wood pulp plants, lumber etc. and assisting in environmental issues related to commercial transactions, primarily regarding environmental due diligence. Arvid have a long background working with environmental law and is leading within water law with focus on hydro power and environmental quality standards. Arvid was involved in the preparation of the legislation regarding reconsideration of hydropower and the application of environmental quality standards for water, which entered into force on 1 January 2019 by assisting a number of social actors in negotiations with the Ministry of the Environment. Arvid is a very experienced lecturer and holds lectures on environmental quality standards and water operations. Arvid is also a member of the Swedenergy legal group and the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise’s environmental law group.

Dennis Engman

Dennis specializes in construction law, dispute resolution, and court and arbitration proceedings. He also has in-depth knowledge in the fields of debt enforcement law and debt relief. Dennis has previous experiences in the judiciary as a law clerk, and as a case officer at a government agency, giving him extensive insight into complex legal matters and case proceedings.

Erika Juvander Heveus

Erika practices within several legal fields such as commercial contracts law, company law, labour law, intellectual property law and marketing law. She has extensive experience of assisting companies with their day-to-day legal issues and often works as an external support to both management and other business areas. Erika’s assignments may, for example, consist of drawing up or reviewing agreements and various company documents, making legal assessments of issues that arise in the business, assisting in negotiations and disputes and legally securing business structures.

Fredrik Berg

Fredrik specialises in construction and real estate law and dispute resolution in these areas. After many years of experience in the real estate and construction sectors, Fredrik has developed extensive expertise in this practice area. Fredrik advises a wide range of companies, and other actors in these sectors, supporting them in their core business activities. He offers legal advice, drafts agreements, solves legal issues in ongoing projects, educates key personnel and represents his clients in disputes.

Georgios Eleftheriadis

Georgios specialises in matters relating to construction contracts and dispute resolution. He has several years of experience working at the district court in Stockholm, where he gained extensive knowledge in various types of litigation and dispute resolution processes. Georgios has successfully assisted in minor disputes and major international arbitration proceedings.

Göran Andersson

Göran Andersson has more than twenty years of experience in general commercial law with a focus on corporate and commercial contracts, including IT law and public procurement. Göran has extensive experience in the public sector, IT sector, transport sector, and the food industry.

Göran Lundsten

Göran specialises in general commercial law and undertakes assignments in the regulated financial sector. For over three decades, Göran has assisted companies and organisations from a range of different business areas and industries and has offered expert advice on business and legal matters relating to Swedish and international law. He assists clients in transactions, restructuring, corporate governance, and compliance.

Gustaf Cedershiöld

Gustaf is a partner and head of the construction and consultancy law practice group at Hellström. Gustaf has extensive expertise within real estate and construction law and has undertaken a wide range of cases since 2007. Gustaf assists his clients with legal advice in project-specific issues, and in legal matters in his clients’ day-to-day operations. He also has years of courtroom experience, representing clients in cases before the Swedish courts, including the Supreme Court on several occasions, and arbitral tribunals.

Hans Liljeblad

Hans has been practising transactional and financial law since the early 1990s, undertaking assignments including IPOs, M&A and a variety of financing solutions. In connection with these transactions, Hans has represented both Swedish and international clients. Hans has served in an advisory role in a number of transactions, including both large and medium-sized privately owned and listed companies. Hans also works with corporate restructuring and has recently served as a restructurer in a large number of corporate restructurings across a variety of industries.

Ingela Sundelin

Ingela works exclusively with environmental law. A large part of her work consists of representing operators in permit and regulatory matters in accordance with the Environmental Code and the Planning and Building Act, assisting in environmental issues related to commercial transactions, primarily regarding environmental due diligence, and working with authorities in matters that often concern the content, interpretation and application of the legislation, e.g. questions about contaminated areas. Ingela has a solid background in the field of land and environmental law, and she has a genuine interest in the clients’ operations and the industries in which the clients operate. She is a legal representative in several processes concerning applications for permits for construction and operation of wind power plants, both onshore and offshore, as well as in processes concerning permits for mining operations and the use of soil masses for construction purposes. Ingela Sundelin is often hired as a lecturer in environmental law. She is also a member of the Swedish Association for Environmental Law.

Johan Karlman

Johan Karlman is the head of Hellström’s employment law group. Johan has extensive experience providing qualified advice and legal counsel in the area of employment law to Swedish and international companies, in connection with union consultations and court proceedings. Johan is regularly mentioned in the Legal 500, which wrote the following, in 2015, regarding Hellström’s employment law group: “Hellström Law’s practice is considered excellent”.

Jonas Wetterfors

Jonas Wetterfors is the head of Hellström’s dispute resolution practice group. He specialises in commercial disputes and has represented clients in a large number of Swedish and international civil and arbitral proceedings. Jonas has considerable litigation experience, as well as experience in ad hoc arbitration and proceedings governed by the rules of the SCC and the ICC. His expertise covers a broad range of industry sectors, including disputes in the financial services, energy, IT, manufacturing sectors, as well as M&A related disputes. In addition to undertaking assignments in commercial disputes, Jonas also frequently performs transactional and M&A work for his clients.

Jonas Forsman

Jonas is head of the M&A group and primarily specialises in owner-driven businesses within corporate law, commercial contract law, and corporate governance. His vast experience as legal counsel to management and owners has provided him with extensive expertise within these areas. Jonas undertakes assignments that include providing legal assistance to a wide range of companies, including start-ups. Typical assignments for Jonas include advising the board of directors, managing director, and middle management through day-to-day legal advice, and taking a leading role in acquisitions. Jonas is also often appointed as a member of the board and as a liquidator.

Karl-Fredrik Björklund

Karl-Fredrik has many years of experience working with data protection law and GDPR along with handling legal issues when data and information is handled by different organisations. Karl-Fredrik has a wide-ranging experience of working with complex contracts within the IT-sector including outsourcing and IT-system deliveries. He also handles commercial disputes in court and by arbitration regarding several areas of the law. Finally, Karl-Fredrik is working with labour law.

Kim Lindgren

Kim Lindgren has extensive experience in real estate law, with a specialisation in commercial lease law, tenant/owner association law, leasehold titles and other forms of access rights. He also specialises in general and special real estate law and property transactions, as well as related business law. In the field of commercial lease law, Kim has worked in the drafting and review process for lease contracts with clients that have included a large number of shopping centres and shopping malls. He has also participated in closing the contract negotiations for the introduction within each facility.

Krister Lindgren

Krister primarily undertakes assignments in construction and consultancy law, as well as dispute resolution in these areas. Krister has extensive experience and solid industry knowledge within these areas and represents a range of actors in the industry, by offering ongoing legal consultation, drafting agreements, reviewing agreements, and conducting litigation or arbitration. Krister is also a highly respected lecturer and regularly contributes articles to the magazine Energi & Miljö.

Lennart Melchior

Lennart Melchior specialises in property law and environmental law. Lennart regularly represents real estate and energy companies and has acquired extensive industry knowledge within his areas of expertise. Furthermore, he has considerable experience serving as legal counsel in both the general courts and arbitral proceedings and has successfully handled several high-profile disputes in a number of areas of business. Lennart is a highly skilled negotiator with extensive experience and a vast professional network.

Magnus Andersson

Magnus Andersson is the head of Hellström’s real estate group and is also a member of the construction law group. He undertakes assignments in matters relating to real estate transactions, real estate and tenancy law, construction law, and property and construction disputes. Magnus has many years of experience and extensive knowledge in his areas of specialisation. His clients include companies in the real estate and construction sectors, both from within Sweden and abroad.

Manne Bergnéhr

Manne Bergnéhr specialises in competition law and often assists clients by leading M&A projects. His extensive experience in competition law has included roles as an agent in cartels and abuse of dominance cases, and in matters relating to state aid and acquisition notifications. He has many years of experience representing both buyers and sellers in business transfers in Sweden and internationally. Manne has also gained vast industry-specific expertise after assisting clients in the public and private sector in the chemical industry and life sciences sector, as well as customer service, energy and cleantech.

Mats Hellström

As the founding partner of Hellström Law, and a member of the Swedish Bar Association since 1991, Mats Hellström is one of the most experienced lawyers in the firm. Mats has vast legal expertise and experience in matters concerning commercial contracts, M&A, and employment law. Ponthus Andersson is the head of Hellström’s practice group for public procurement and public law. Having worked both at an administrative court and an administrative court of appeal, Ponthus has gained extensive experience in the area of public procurement. Ponthus assists contracting authorities/entities — including some of the largest in Sweden — in all matters that may arise before, during and after the procurement procedure. Ponthus also provides legal assistance to suppliers from a wide range of different industries.

Thomas Jäderlund

Thomas Jäderlund undertakes a variety of assignments within business law, as well as dispute and arbitration proceedings. Thomas has extensive experience within contract negotiations and complicated contract structures and has provided expert legal advice to clients within Sweden and abroad, including clients in the energy sector, the real estate industry, and public/municipal enterprises.
