Natascha Tunkel is a Partner at KNOETZL and applies over 15 years of experience in the field of complex dispute resolution in her practice, guiding clients through initiation of proceedings to enforcement of decisions. She is not only recognized as counsel and arbitrator, but also as mediator and mediation counsel. Valentina has acted as counsel, arbitrator (sole arbitrator, co-arbitrator and chairperson) and administrative secretary in more than 70 arbitration and other ADR cases under the major arbitration rules, including ICC, LCIA, VIAC, DIS, Swiss Rules, CEAC, CAS and UNCITRAL. Florian Haugeneder

Florian Haugeneder is a Partner at KNOETZL. He has more than 15 years’ extensive experience as counsel and arbitrator under the rules of the major arbitral institutions, including the ICC, ICSID, SCC, LCIA and VIAC, as well as in international and domestic ad-hoc arbitration such as UNCITRAL. Florian has represented clients in some of the largest and most complex disputes in the CEE and SEE regions. A special focus of his practice involves international law on the protection of foreign investments under bilateral and multilateral investment protection treaties. Florian specializes in engineering and construction, energy, joint ventures, as well as commercial and corporate disputes. His experience includes numerous M&A projects, hotel management contracts, the construction and operation of a major fiber-optic cable infrastructure, a large IT outsourcing project, various thermal and hydro power plants, international gas transportation and storage, banking and finance, highway and rail construction and replacement, and a water and sewer system. Florian has advised on a large number of FIDIC contracts.

Patrizia Netal

Patrizia Netal is a partner at KNOETZL. Patrizia has extensive experience as counsel and arbitrator in institutional and ad-hoc arbitration proceedings (including the Rules of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the Rules of Arbitration of the VIAC (Vienna Rules), the German Institution of Arbitration (DIS), the Swiss Rules of International Arbitration and UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules). Her practice has a particular focus on large-scale construction projects and engineering across the CEE region, M&A projects, aviation, energy, and international sales disputes. Since 2022 Patrizia is vice-president of the Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC). She lectures at the Austrian Arbitration Academy and is a faculty member of the Delos Remote Oral Advocacy Programme (“ROAP”).
