Camilla C. Collet assists Danish and international companies with M&A transactions, commercial contracts, reorganisations and other transactions, often of an international nature and where the understanding of commercial principles is paramount.  Camilla has particular expertise in the life sciences segment where she has assisted with numerous acquisitions, sales and investments in life sciences companies. She advises pharmaceutical companies, biotech companies and manufacturers of medical devices on a current basis. Camilla also has experience with transactions within, among other things, industry, real property, insurance and the entertainment industry. As head of our Compliance & CSR cross-practice group, Camilla advises on anti-corruption, export control, sanctions and business ethics, among other things.  Finally, Camilla has experience with board duties and regularly lectures on M&A, Contracts and Compliance.

She was admitted to the New York bar in 2013 and holds a master's degree from Columbia Law School and a PhD from the University of Antwerp.

Erik Kjær-Hansen is a competition law expert and the head of the Gorrissen Federspiel's EU & Competition Law practice group. For more than 20 years, Erik has assisted Danish and international entities in relation to competition law, procurement law and state aid law. He has comprehensive litigation experience and has conducted cases before the Supreme Court. In respect of competition law, Erik focuses on litigation (including actions for damages), issues relating to dominant undertakings and cartel probes. In relation to procurement law, he assists authorities and undertakings in carrying through tender procedures, submitting bids and conducting complaints proceedings. Erik also assists undertakings and authorities with other regulatory issues and has significant experience with external legal investigations. He also acts as arbitrator.

Gitte is partner in Gorrissen Federspiel's Corporate / M&A practice group and also part of our cross-practice group for Energy & Infrastructure as well as member of our French Desk and Spanish Desk. Gitte renders assistance on a current basis to a wide range of listed and unlisted companies as well as private equity funds, family offices and other investors, primarily in connection with the acquisition and sale of companies and minority investments, entering of shareholders' agreements and other shareholder and corporate law issues. She thus has extensive experience in both large and medium-sized transactions, both inbound and outbound, and in structured sales processes, W&I insured transactions, platform and add-on acquisitions, etc., notably within IT/Tech, Energy/Infrastructure and shipping. Henrik Saugmandsgaard Øe joined Gorrissen Federspiel as partner of the firm after the end of his time as Danish Advocate General at the Court of Justice of the European Union. While fulfilling this role, Henrik contributed to solving a large amount of highly important cases, among others a great number of cases before the Grand Chamber, providing him with a thorough knowledge of and experience within EU law and EU procedural law. As Advocate General, he has submitted Opinions within a broad spectrum of legal areas, including Competition law, State aid, Public procurement, Internal market law (free movement of goods, persons, services and capital), Fundamental rights, Direct taxation, VAT, Customs union, International Private law, International law, Intellectual property rights, Data protection, Agricultural and fishing regulations, Banking law and Consumer protection law. Prior to his time as Advocate General, Henrik has had great experience working as a lawyer in commercial law. He has worked as both Head of Department in the office of Property and Obligations Law in the Ministry of Justice, acting judge at the High Court of Eastern Denmark and finally as Consumer Ombudsman, where he among other things has dealt with complex cases regarding the financial sector.

Jacob Skude Rasmussen has a broad practice that covers high-profile commercial disputes and business crime. He is frequently appointed as arbitrator and has experience sitting as arbitrator under national and international rules. Jacob also advises on international public law. Jacob Skude Rasmussen qualified for the Bar in 2009, gained right of audience before the High Court in 2012 and gained right of audience before the Supreme Court in 2017. He has been a partner at Gorrissen Federspiel since 2015. He is a former Senior Adviser at the legal service of the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He is also certified mediator and serves as an Advisory Board Member on the Danish Institute of Arbitration's Committee on Maritime Disputes.

Jakob Krogsøe specialises in tax law and has extensive experience conducting legal proceedings on direct and indirect taxes, including VAT. Jakob is one of the leading lawyers in this area in Denmark. He has worked for the past 26 years conducting legal proceedings on direct and indirect taxes and has conducted a high number of cases before all court instances, including the Court of Justice of the European Union. Many of these cases have been of general public importance. Jakob has a right of audience before the Danish Supreme Court and is a member of the Danish Association of Supreme Court Litigators. Jakob Plesner Mathiasen is a specialist in consulting in IP law, including media and entertainment law. Jakob has wide experience with advising on copyrights, where he e.g. acts as permanent adviser for the majority of music companies in Denmark. By virtue of his expertise in copyright, Jakob has also been appointed Secretary of The Danish Copyright Society and National Group Director of IFPI Denmark. Jakob has profound insight into – and focus on – the digital development and the IP legal issues that arises from this. As a result of his focus on media and entertainment law, Jakob is editor of the textbook of entertainment law and an associate professor on the same subject at the University of Copenhagen. Jakob has wide experience in handling complex cases within media and entertainment law, including disputes, entering into agreements and strategic advice. Jakob has been an adviser on significant and complex cases regarding the scope of IP legal protection (including the first case worldwide that made it possible to order telecommunications companies to block copyright-infringing material on the Internet). For more than 20 years, Jan Steen Hansen has worked intensively with direct and indirect taxes. He advises Danish and foreign companies, pension funds, foundations, associations, public institutions and private individuals on matters relating to direct and indirect taxes. Jan is an experienced and recognised tax specialist, focusing, among other things, on tax in connection with M&A transactions, taxation of pension funds, company and shareholder tax, equity and venture funds, financial products, EU and international tax, VAT and other indirect taxes as well as tax in Greenland. Jan also assists our clients with obtaining advance tax rulings from the Danish tax authorities. A substantial part of his work involves complaints proceedings before the National Tax Tribunal and tax cases before the courts. Kenneth has previously worked in our Corporate/M&A practice group where he gained insight into the business of many of our clients. In Corporate/M&A he advised on several significant IPOs and corporate acquisitions, among other matters. Kenneth uses this knowledge actively in his role as a litigator. Knowledge about the clients' businesses is a major strength in the effort to prioritise the issues of a case and obtain a good result in an environment where the battle lines have been drawn by disagreeing parties.

Kristian Gammelgaard Møller advises clients on insolvency and private client matters. As for insolvency matters, Kristian advises financial institutions and other clients which face the challenge of insolvent customers or suppliers or where a client faces claims from a bankruptcy estate. Where insolvency leads to bankruptcy or restructuring proceedings, Kristian will administer the bankruptcy estate or the restructuring proceedings. In the private client area, Kristian advises on ownership structures, succession planning and prenuptial agreements, just as Kristian handles estates of deceased persons and provides advice to the beneficiaries. In addition, Kristian assists with division of property, and he has experience in setting up and advising funds. Kristian has knowledge and experience within the challenges in relation to succession and divorce, which international families may face. Kristian Helge Straton-Andersen has worked within competition law for more than 15 years and advises on all areas of Danish and EU competition law. Kristian also advises on foreign direct investments. Kristian has extensive experience with merger control work, including more than 100 merger notifications to the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority, the European Commission, and foreign competition authorities. He advises clients on distribution agreements and other cooperation of a horizontal or vertical nature as well as conduct by dominant undertakings.  He has extensive experience within the maritime sector, having advised ship owners and managers in this area since 2007.  He represents clients before the Danish competition authorities, the Danish Competition Appeals Tribunal, and the European Commission.

Mikael Philip Schmidt advises on securities law issues and M&A.Within securities law, his focus is the general disclosure requirements, IPOs and direct issues. The Danish market is Mikael's primary focus, but he also often provides assistance in foreign transactions. Mikael has been involved in a large number of major Danish IPOs and public issues and is the author of the book Prospektretten (prospectus law). Mikael also has extensive experience with all aspects of M&A transactions, including structured processes, PE-driven transactions, drafting and negotiation of transaction documentation and the subsequent legal work with the operation of the company. As regards transport, Morten renders advice to airline companies and the large shipping companies, but his practice also extends to rendering assistance and advice in relation to leasing, purchase/sale, regulatory issues, passenger rights, accidents, maintenance, registration, arrest, repossession and insurance matters.

Niclas has for several years been recognised as a capacity in Denmark within his focus areas, and before joining Gorrissen Federspiel, he was partner and Co-head of EY's Danish Transaction Tax team. Niclas is often used as a speaker, e.g. in the framework of the Danish Tax Lawyers' Association and Danish Business Angels. He is furthermore Deputy Chairman of the Tax Committee of Active Owners (formerly DVCA) and Nordic representative on the Tax Committee of Invest Europe.

He also has market-leading experience of venture investments and exits in life sciences. With more than 20 directorships, Niels has extensive experience as a director and an active discussion partner in issues relating to organisation and business. Niels uses his network actively to create business and transaction opportunities for his clients. He is furthermore chairman of the board of directors in Gorrissen Federspiel. He represents Denmark on the Company Law Committee under the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE) and is a member of the board of the Danish Association for Company Law, the board of representatives of the Association of Danish Law Firms and of the committee for advice and knowledge service of the Confederation of Danish Enterprise.

Peter has considerable experience as a director and active discussion partner for managements in issues concerning the organisation of companies, day-to-day operations and strategy. As an adviser to a large number of the Danish shipping companies, he has also acquired expert knowledge of the shipping industry. Peter has an extensive international network, among other things, from his time as chairman of IBA's Maritime and Transport Law Committee. He provides assistance with infrastructure projects and has extensive knowledge about ferry service and train and harbour projects. He has extensive experience with matters pertaining to Greenland. Peter assists a number of Danish and international NGOs in the transport sector.
