Adam Nowosielski
Adam Nowosielski is an attorney at law in Schoenherr’s Warsaw office. He focuses on advising domestic and international entities on the sale and purchase (asset, enterprise, share deals) of logistics, office and retail property in Poland and has taken part in various cross border transactions. Adam has performed and supervised numerous due diligence processes for investors and financing banks related to the acquisition, sale or obtaining of financing. Adam has also assisted in the day-to-day operations of logistics centres and office buildings and is experienced in negotiating construction agreements and commercial lease agreements for various real estate (warehouse, office premises and retail shops). Adam is also experienced in administrative proceedings related to zoning and construction. Before joining Schoenherr he gained experience at leading international law firms. Adam is a member of the Warsaw Bar, and graduated from Gdansk University (Mag.2014), and has a Diploma in English and European Law from the British Law Centres (Dip, 2012-2014).
Agnieszka  Stawiarska
Agnieszka Stawiarska has been an associate at Schoenherr since 2018. Her main areas of practice are m&a, day-to-day corporate law and eu & competition matters. She graduated from the University of Warsaw (Mag. iur. 2017) and Cardiff University (2015). As of January 2019, she has been a trainee attorney at the Warsaw Bar Association. Before joining Schoenherr, Agnieszka practised with national law firms in Warsaw.
Aleksandra  Goławska
Aleksandra Goławska has been an associate with Schoenherr since 2022. Aleksandra's main area of practice is banking & finance. She provides legal assistance to international and domestic clients with respect to a wide range of financing transactions on the basis of civil and commercial law. Aleksandra, a trainee attorney-at-law of the Warsaw Bar Association since 2022, graduated from the University of Warsaw (Master of Laws, 2020), Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (Erasmus, Master of Laws, 2020) and British Law Centre (Diploma, 2020). Before joining Schoenherr, Warsaw, she practiced with Polish and international law firms as an intern and junior associate. She speaks fluent Polish and English.
Barbara Jóźwik
Barbara Jóźwik is a partner in the employment practice of Schoenherr Warsaw. She has more than 20 years of experience as an employment lawyer. Barbara is specialising in all aspects of employment law, including national and multi-jurisdictional issues, individual and collective employment law. Barbara has particular experience in advising clients on drafting executive contracts, terminating contracts with top-managers, drafting internal regulations, such as remuneration and working rules, and workplace bullying procedures, advising employers on such issues as employee incentive plans, bonus arrangements, restructuring and redundancies as well as negotiating settlements. Her practice also includes negotiations with trade unions and works councils. She has experience with complex reorganizations and restructuring matters, including personnel reductions, works council/trade unions information/consultation requirements, harmonization of employee benefits, transfer of undertakings. Barbara represents clients in labour courts. Most disputes concern mobbing and discriminationissues but also dismissals, overtime, unequal treatment and  non-competition related issues. Barbara is a frequent speaker at seminars on labour law. In addition, she is the author of various books and publications on labour law in the Polish business press.
Daniel  Radwański
Daniel Radwański has been a counsel with Schoenherr, Warsaw, since October 2018. Daniel is an attorney-at-law and a certified restructuring adviser. Daniel's main areas of practice are restructuring & insolvency and dispute resolution. In the field of restructuring & insolvency Daniel regularly advises and represents debtors and creditors in restructuring and insolvency proceedings in Poland. In addition, Daniel acts as a counsel to insolvency administrators and distressed assets investors. In this capacity Daniel has advised in a number of challenging and precedential restructuring matters in Poland. On the dispute resolution front, Daniel represents clients before courts and arbitration panels in a variety of business-related matters, including general commercial disputes, corporate and post-m&a disputes. Before joining Schoenherr he practiced with international law firms in Warsaw.
Daria Rutecka
Daria Rutecka is an attorney at law and has been with Schoenherr since 2015. Her practice covers data protection, IP, IT and new technologies. Daria is an active member of the Schoenherr "Technology&Digitalisation" group. She has advised on numerous M&A deals with particular focus on both corporate issues and matters related to personal data or technology. Daria works on M&A transactions in various industry sectors, including banking and insurance, tech&telco and many others. She combines her expertise in data protection/IT and incorporates it into M&A deals she works on. Other than that, Daria's core practice includes daily advisory to companies on issues related to data privacy and IT, creating comprehensive data privacy strategies and policies, adapting them to Polish and/or European standards and legal provisions. Currently, Daria is finishing her PhD thesis on legal issues related to Artificial Intelligence and the consequences of considering AI as a special category of software. Daria graduated from the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun (2015) taking third place in the masters' dissertations competition on conflict of laws and choice of law aspects in electronic commerce. She participated in, and was a finalist in several international moot court competitions. In 2013 Daria spent one semester at the University of Eastern Finland as an exchange student.
Ewelina Adamczyk
Ewelina Adamczyk has been an attorney at law in Schoenherr’s Warsaw office since 2022. She focuses on advising domestic and international entities on the sale and purchase (asset, enterprise, share deals) of office and retail property in Poland. Ewelina participates in real estate acquisition, sale and lease processes and she represents investors in administrative and civil proceedings. Before joining Schoenherr she gained experience in national and international law firms. Ewelina is a member of the Warsaw Bar (2018), graduated from Catholic University of Lublin (Mag.2014) and completed the American Law course at the Center for American Law at Catholic University of Lublin in conjunction with Chicago-Kent College of Law (2014). Ewelina speaks Polish and English.
Hanna Kosińska
Hanna Kosińska has been an attorney at law with Schoenherr since 2022, previously working at a high-ranking international law firm. A litigation and restructuring lawyer focusing on commercial disputes, she has compiled a track record of supporting financial institutions in court disputes with consumers and business clients. She also specialises in restructuring and insolvency law, providing advice in this respect to both debtors and creditors.
Katarzyna  Sulimierska
Katarzyna Sulimierska has been a partner in Schoenherr's Warsaw office since 2021. Katarzyna has over 14 years of experience and focuses on real estate and environmental law. She has advised major Polish and foreign investors from the real estate sector in transactions related to the sale and acquisition of warehouse, office and other commercial real properties. Katarzyna also has experience advising clients from a wide range of industry sectors on various environmental matters. Her experience includes, among others, issues related to historical soil contamination, noise, REACH regulation, obtaining environmental, integrated, waste, water and emission permits, as well as conducting full legal environmental due diligences. Katarzyna is a member of the Warsaw Bar, graduated from the Warsaw University (2007), and attended the American Law Center University of Warsaw/Levin College of Law in Florida (2005-2006). Katarzyna also participated in a one-year programme at Université de Paris VIII and obtained a doctorate in environmental law from the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw (2013). From 2007 and until joining Schoenherr, Katarzyna worked in leading international law firms.
Klaudia Szatan
Klaudia Szatan has been an associate with Schoenherr since 2021. Klaudia's main areas of practice are m&a and venture capital. She provides ongoing corporate advice and contract services to Polish and foreign enterprises on the basis of civil and commercial law. Klaudia, a trainee attorney-at-law of the Warsaw Bar Association since 2020, graduated from the University of Warsaw (2019). Before joining Schoenherr, Warsaw, she practised with Polish law firms as an intern and junior associate.
Krzysztof Wawrzyniak
Krzysztof Wawrzyniak, a specialist in M&A, corporate & reorganisations and venture capital, joined Schoenherr in September 2022. In over 13 years of professional experience, he has covered a wide range of economic sectors and industries, including energy, real estate & construction, venture capital and insurance. He was recognised as a Rising Star in the LEGAL500 EMEA 2021 and 2022 editions (commercial, corporate and M&A). A member of the Warsaw Bar, Krzysztof graduated from the SGH Warsaw School of Economics (post-graduate studies in capital market law and economics, 2019) and the University of Warsaw (Master of Management 2012 and Master of Law 2010). Before joining Schoenherr Poland, he practised at highly regarded Polish law firms.
Krzysztof  Leśniak
Krzysztof Leśniak is an attorney at law and cooperates with schoenherr’s Warsaw office since 2012. He specialises in corporate/M&A and energy law. He was involved in various local and cross border mergers and acquisition projects, advised for-eign and domestic companies and represented clients in pro-ceedings before the courts and public authorities. Krzysztof graduated from University of Warsaw with degrees in Law and Polish philology and in 2015 passed the bar exam. Krzysztof gained experience in law firms in Warsaw, Poland and published articles on corporate and energy law.
Marcin Antczak
Marcin Antczak is counsel and since 2013 with Schoenherr. Marcin's main areas of practice are banking, finance & capital markets, securities & insolvency. Marcin also provides advice for private equity and venture capital firms. Marcin has participated in a number of domestic and cross-border loan transactions, including project finance and acquisition finance transactions, structuring and drafting loan and security documentation. Prior to joining Schoenherr Marcin worked for more than six years at Warsaw offices of two major international law firms. Marcin graduated from the faculty of law and administration at the university of Warsaw. He also graduated from the Center for American Law Studies, a joint initiative of the university of Florida Levin College of Law and the Warsaw university.
Paula Weronika Kapica
Weronika Kapica is an attorney at law and joined Schoenherr's Warsaw office in 2016.  She is a part of the banking & finance practice in Warsaw. With 4 years of professional experience her practice covers both banking & finance, capital markets and M&A. Weronika has worked in a wide range of financing transactions, including secured and unsecured financing, bridge loans, and bonds. Weronika holds degrees from the University of Warsaw (Master of Laws 2015), Center for American Law Studies (Diploma, 2013) and the University of Pennsylvania (LL.M, 2016). She is also a PhD candidate at the Institute of Law Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences since 2017.
Paulina  Klimek-Woźniak
Paulina Klimek-Woźniak is an associate in Schoenherr’s Warsaw office having joined in April 2018. Paulina's main areas of practice are ip law and life sciences. She specialises in advising on trademark rights and industrial designs, in particular in relation to protecting them against infringements, as well as in matters related to the fight against unfair competition, in particular in the field of misleading designations, names, and marketing activities. She also practices in the area of life sciences, especially concerning food law and cosmetics. Paulina has assisted clients in disputes before courts and administrative bodies such as the Polish Patent Office, European Union Intellectual Property Office and the General Sanitary Inspector. Paulina, a member of the Warsaw bar association, graduated from the University of Warsaw in 2013. Before joining Schoenherr Warsaw, she practised at a national law firm as an associate.
Paweł Halwa
Paweł Halwa is the managing partner in Schoenherr’s Warsaw office, where he focuses on corporate/M&A, banking & finance and capital markets. He specializes in corporate law, including corporate law disputes and securities, as well as equity capital markets. Paweł’s experience includes advising corporates, funds and financial institutions on large transactions with an international angle as well as on their day to day activity. He frequently advises on structuring transactions, including cross-border M&A transactions, offerings of securities and restructuring processes. On the financial regulatory side, Paweł has assisted on structuring the operations of financial institutions, including brokers and fund managers, and represented clients in licensing processes. He has represented clients in negotiations and proceedings before courts and administrative bodies such as the Financial Supervision Authority, Ministry of  Finance, National Bank of Poland and Office for Competition and Consumer Protection. Paweł has authored books and articles on company law and capital markets in Poland.
Paweł Kułak
Paweł Kułak is an attorney at law with Schoenherr since beginning of 2016. Paweł's main areas of practice are EU & Competition law. Between 2007 and 2016, he was a member of the Competition Protection Department in the Office for Competition and Consumer Protection and acted as an adviser to the President. In this capacity, he conducted explanatory and antimonopoly investigations, especially in energy and transport sectors, organized and took part in inspections in cartel cases and represented the Office for Competition and Consumer Protection in court. Between 2002 and 2007 Paweł worked in Market Analysis Department as a specialist, head of the Competition Policy Unit and adviser to the President of the Office for Competition and Consumer Protection. In this function he was involved in preparing reports on the competition restrictions in some sectors of the country's economy and conducted proceedings in merger cases. He obtained his law degree from Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin.
Róża Szatan
Róża Szatan has been an associate in Schoenherr's Warsaw office since 2022. Róża's main area of practice is real estate. Her experience includes advising both polish and international clients in corporate matters and civil lawsuits. Róża graduated from the Warsaw University (2021) and participated in the  Erasmus Programme at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg. Since 2022 she has been a trainee at the Warsaw Bar Association of Attorneys at Law. She is also a trainee in the School of German and European Law in the Warsaw University. Before joining Schoenherr she worked in national law firms.
